WHY CLEANING MATTERS

We typically see an increase in energy production between 5-10% after a cleaning. It is recommended to clean your solar panels at least 1 - 2 times per year. If you have a system that is at a lower angle, the area you're in produces larger amounts of dust, or you have a large number of trees nearby, cleaning can increase anywhere from 3 - 4 times per year.

While 5-10% is the base-line, we have seen close to 50% increases in production. The chart below shows one such increase. This system was cleaned on June 27th, and production increase from about 24kwh on June 26th to 44kwh on June 27th.
